Cravings and Overeating!
I cheated a little tonight, I ate a small piece of chocolate and 7 vanilla wafers. However the rest of my day wasn’t that bad. I ate a spinach omelet and two pieces of turkey bacon for breakfast, a ham and cheese sandwich and carrot sticks for lunch, grapes and a sugar-free Popsicle for a snack, and steak and mashed cauliflower for dinner. The part where I really messed up was for my dessert, I ate a sugar-free pudding and vanilla wafers, then went a grabbed a piece of chocolate from the See’s Candy Bar. Overall I feel like I completely overate today! Even now I’m fighting off the urge to grab another little small sweet treat. I’m trying to curb the cravings by drinking lots of water, which is keeping my stomach full. Being able to divulge this little cheat and negative feelings to all my buddies really helps me not beat myself up about, and avoid hitting the junk food/overeating “domino effect” (where since I already messed up and semi got off track, I should not worry about what I eat tomorrow, or the next day, or the day after that. I CAN STILL DO THIS!
